A Quick At-Home 15 Minute Workout

Who came up with the idea that you need an hour of free time to get an awesome workout? This misconception is why some busy people think that they don’t have time to exercise, and it is SO NOT TRUE!

We’re here to tell you that if you have 15 minutes, you can fit in a heart-pumping workout. Don’t let time get in the way of your health. All you need is your body weight and motivation to keep you moving, even on your busiest days. While many people prefer working out in the gym setting, there are some days where it may be impossible to make it there, and that shouldn’t be an excuse to skip a workout.

Try this quick at home workout to experience how little time you need to stay in shape. It also happens to be the perfect workout for people who travel and have to make the most of their hotel room space!

Set a timer for 15 minutes and do As Many Rounds as Possible (AMRAP)

  • 10 Squats
  • 10 Pushups
  • 10 Sit Ups
  • 10 Reverse Lunges(R)
  • 10 Reverse Lunges (L)
  • 5 Squat Thrusts

This workout will get your heart rate going in no time. If you have weights at home you can add or take away some exercises. Start with the basics.

For example:

  • 10 Squats
  • 10 Shoulder Press
  • 10 Bicep Curls
  • 10 Reverse Lunges(R)
  • 10 Reverse Lunges (L)
  • 10 Dumbbell Deadlifts

 

The more equipment you have at home, the more variety you can add. Whether you have 15 minutes in the morning, afternoon or evening, don’t let the day go without taking control of your exercise schedule. Take what you’ve learned from Blackburn Training and make it your own!
