I Completed My First Ever Tough Mudder!
“I have always been one to go to the gym and keep active, but it becomes mundane after a while and I was looking for a way to change things up. So when I heard about this training class, I decided to give it a try. Three months later, after consistent workouts with James, and I can honestly say I have never felt stronger than I do now. His high intensity strength training is absolutely what my workouts have been missing. I am happy to go work out because I feel it making a difference every week. Running has become easier and I have learned that all the equipment and machines you find in the gym are not necessary to gain the core strength that helps guide you to a new level of fitness. In 3 Months I Lost More Than 9 Inches and 25 Pounds!
My New Year’s Resolution was to lose 30 pounds. One of my closest friends was getting married and naturally I wanted to look my best for her wedding. I started going to the gym with some friends where I would barely break a sweat walking on the treadmill but hey, it was better than nothing…right?? Wrong! I wasn’t seeing any results and I finally came across Blackburn Training and texted James for a free week trial. From the moment I walked through the door I knew this was just what I was looking for. James and everyone on the team are extremely motivating and it’s amazing how much we feel off each other’s energy. The workouts are challenging and are never the same which stops it from becoming boring and I love it. Over the past few months I’ve been able to do things I never thought possible: pulls ups, run a mile, or flip a 300lb tire. Everyday my body gets stronger and stronger and the results I see are amazing. In the three and a half months I’ve been a member of the Blackburn Team I’ve lost more than 9 inches overall close to twenty pounds. In the coming weeks I’ll be doing my first ever Mud Run and am looking forward to signing up for anything else that gets me out of my comfort zone!
